A Bit About Me
I was born to and raised by two loving parents. Brought up in rural Ohio, I was a kid of the 80's. We played games like any kid did, but spent a lot of time outdoors. We played in the creeks, went fishing, camping and played in the yard even in winter.
As far as gaming goes I remember the first Atari. That was my jam when I was a young boy. I grew up with the changes in video games through the years. So I remember when Atari died off and Nintendo came around in 1985. I played the first Mario when it was new. The gaming industry has changed a bunch in the last 45 years and I suppose I have as well. The one thing that I can say about what I do is that I absolutely love owning and operating a retro game store. Its a blast.

I had many jobs when I was younger. Entry level positions in fast food or stocking shelves and learning retail and customer service was my earliest background. I worked at Meijer, I worked at several fast food restaurants. None of which I enjoyed... lol.
I worked on and off with a friend of mine doing blacktop sealcoating. That's when I first started thinking about being an entrepreneur. My first business was odd jobs where I built decks, pressure washed houses or pretty much whatever the client needed to have done. I have painted houses and done landscaping and lots of things that I had to learn as I went.
At one point someone made it apparent to me that I did not want to be an old man that had to still swing a hammer to make money. After some time thinking about it I came up with the idea of building my own game store. It has been a lot of hard work and it has taken many years to build up the clientele. It has certainly not always been easy but I am happy with my success and am always working toward the future with my store. And I am finally happy doing what I enjoy.
